1. General Returns Policy

  • Return Window: Most items can be returned within 14 days from the date you receive your order.

  • Condition: Items must be:

    • Unused, unworn, and unwashed

    • In original condition, with all tags and packaging intact

    • Free of any alterations or damage

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return

Unless otherwise stated by the brand, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Final Sale items

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Intimates, swimwear, and earrings (for hygiene reasons)

  • Gift cards

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return:

  1. Email us at enquiries@the-modestination.com

  2. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and reason for return.

  3. You will receive return instructions, including whether the return should be sent directly to the brand or to The Modestination.

Important: Do not ship items back without receiving return authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

4. Return Shipping

  • Responsibility: Return shipping costs are generally the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.

  • Labels: In some cases, prepaid return labels may be provided (at the brand's discretion).

  • Tracking: We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

5. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective, incorrect item).

6. Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered:

  • Provide clear photos and a description of the issue.

  • We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund, at no additional cost to you.

8. International Returns

  • For international orders, return shipping costs, customs, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Please ensure all customs paperwork clearly states "RETURNED GOODS" to avoid additional charges.
